[News] SM-YG-JYP, How Influential were They in Japan and Asia?

 K-Pop stars have made a tremendous achievement according to the concert sales that were released.

K-Pop has become increasingly influencial in Japan based on the impressive amounts of revenue that artists from the 'Big Three' agencies, SM, YG and JYP Entertainment have produced.


SM artists such as TVXQ have taken over the tour scene with 26 performances just in the first half of 2012, which drew in a total of 550,000 fans. SHINee drew in 200,000 fans with 20 performances. Super Junior brought in 110,000 fans with just 2 performances.


Within the same time period, the 'YG Family World Tour' concert in Japan was a bit hit with over 310,000 fans.


JYP Entertainment made it big with 2PM's Japanese 'Budokan Concert Tour' in Asia which drew in 110,000 people.

In addition, Cube Entertainment, DSP Media and many other music agencies will be joining the growing K-Pop craze in Japan in the latter half of 2012.
