In conjunction with KBS's Dream Team and 4 members of 2PM (Chansung, Junho, Junsu and Nichkhun), the 21-members team finished 2nd last in '2012 Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Race' held on July 2nd at Tsim Sha Tsui River.
The event has attracted a lot of fans cheering the team along the coast. Dressed in white uniforms and with 2PM Junho as the drummer, the team was already lagging behind since the start due to the tilting and unsteadyness of the hull which almost went off the fairway during the race.
2PM was not happy with today's performance. 2PM Nichkhun said "I guess no one will be satisfied with this result. Mainly because we did not have enough time to practise. We only got to practise once as a team. However, we have tried our best, and very happy to be part of the race. Hope to come again!"
When asked whether Dream Team has provided any advice since they have participated in previous year race. 2PM Nichkhun said "Yes, they said we have to keep fighting to win but is easier said than done. This is definitely a different experience from stage performances".
2PM Junho also said "I was changed from being a rower to a drummer. The role of a drummer is more strenuous than a rower!". 2PM Chansung responded "I have used all my energy too!".
2PM hopes that through this event, they can promote culture exchange between Hong Kong and South Korea, and introduce the beautiful night scenery of Hong Kong to the Koreans too!
