As we kick off this week daily publish, Hottest got a warm response with the “Behind the Stories”which features more of 2PM real stories. With our Edition 1 of Wooyoung early challenges and his way to pursue with his dream.
With the hit theme set with our entra, we gonna have the second release with this same theme, as this is more meaningful and heartfelt to all Hottest, and 2PM.
This is the story of Hwang Chansung early struggles, insecurities and how we become 2PM’s maknae.
Youngest in the group, but maybe could be consider as the the oldest in the industry among 2PM. He first seen in Superstar Survival, even he did not make it, he landed first attention with Unstoppable High Kick in 2006.
Chansung was born in Seoul, South Korea, where he still resides. Chansung was educated at Korean Art High School and Howon University.
Despite being in Industry quite long compare to others, Chan have a lot in his that he think he is not that good enough to be a real star as he express in an interview before quoted:
“I’ve never dreamed of becoming a celebrity. Naturally, singer or actor’s occupations are respectable, but being tone-deaf, having no sense of rhythm or dancing skills I didn’t even dare to think about it. Compared to my older brother who excels in his studies (currently enrolled at Yonsei University), I didn’t really have much interest in studying, and the only thing I was good at was taekwondo and kendo.”

It’s quite a sound of how Chansung dis belief of himself in his early stage. Bi Rain is his inspiration idol, Rain is one of 2PM mentor in their training years so he got a lot of tips from him and so other staff got worried that we works a lot. And how he control himself a lot of his words. Being a young in Korea give a lot of self control to show respect to elders, and Chan is not an exception.
Today! from being one of 2PM rapper he turned to be among main vocals. And done a lot cameo roles in music videos. And to sum up here is Chansung TV stages via Wikepedia.
