[News] 2PM & 2AM's "Honest" Documentary Movie "We Chased the Same Dream" is Complete!

Male 6 member group who boasts of tremendous popularity as beastly idols, 2PM, and 4 member vocal group who are a hit all over Asia, 2AM. These 2 South Korean groups with largely different individual charms gathered to form the unit "2PM + 2AM 'Oneday.'" Last year they performed for the first time as 10 people at the "JYP NATION in Japan 2011" event held in Japan. Their true selves were filmed backstage and it has finally been completed as the documentary "Beyond the ONEDAY Story of 2PM & 2AM."

This must-see work for fans held its premiere showing on June 7 (Thurs) at Tokyo TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills. 5 members from 2PM: Wooyoung, Junho, Junsu, Chansung, Nichkhun, and 2 members from 2AM: Seulong, and Jinwoon, came on stage for the premiere to introduce the completed movie directed by Omichi Shoichi. They shared their thoughts on the work and told stories about filming  it to the loud cheers of 600 fans who had gathered there.

Both groups were discovered through the Korean audition program "Hot Blooded Men" where they worked their hardest together as trainees. They who came together as the "strongest unit" and sang a theme song for the movie shared their thoughts: "I still can't believe it. Because we ate and slept together as trainees, we're still just like family" (Junsu), "I'm deeply moved that the 10 of us were able to record a song for the first time together since the time we chased the same dream together as trainees" (Chansung).

They also introduced situations that happened in the film from when they had some off time in Tokyo.  Wooyoung talked about an aquarium, and Nichkhun a houseboat that he enjoyed for a brief moment of relaxation, and so on. When asked, "What would you like to do for fun in Japan next time?" they answered: "I want to travel around Japan on a bicycle" (Wooyoung), "I want to go to a place that has delicious otoro" (Junsu). Furthermore, Seulong answered [that he wants to go to] Sapporo, and Junho wants to go to Okinawa, setting up expectations of them cutting across Japan for their next work.

Director Omichi Shoichi appealed, "I fussed over what kind of selections to make in order to capture the true individual interests of these 10 men. I of course captured the cool sides of them that you all know, as well as many moments of them as suffering artists unfamiliar with Japan. Above all, I hope you see that the 10 of them are complete the moment they are together."

"Beyond the ONEDAY Story of 2PM & 2AM" will be open to the public nationwide at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills starting June 30.
