[News] 2PM's fans donate a record amount of rice for their finale concert


Fans of 2PM from all over the world set a new record for rice donations!

The boys held the finale of their Asian tour 'What Time Is It?' on the 21st and 22nd. Donations came in from fans all over the world including Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Canada, United States, Peru, and Russia all came together to donate 28.088 tons (approximately 62,000 lbs) of rice, 6,000 eggs, 1,150 coal briquettes, and 600 kgs of animal feed for a total of 29.438 tons (approximately 64,700 lbs) of items. It resulted in a new record of the largest amount of items being donated for one day.

The food is enough to feed a meal for 240,000 people. It could also feed 2,700 people with 3 meals a day for a full month. Because there was so much, the rice and other donation wreaths completely filled up the outer grounds of the huge stadium.

2PM donated all the food to help the youth in need to their 2PM G+ Starzone.
