[News] 2PM′s Chansung Cast for Drama Special ′Your Noir′

The acting roles keep coming for Hwang Chansung, as again he's grabbed a role in a drama special.

The singer has been cast as the male lead for the KBS drama special Your Noir.

Your Noir will be led by producer Lee So Yeon of KBS2's Babyfaced Beauty, as well as screenwriter Kim Wook of KBS2's The Princess' Man.

Chae Jung An and Hong Kyung In will also star in the drama.

Chansung will play the role of Hyung Joo. Hyung Joo is the newest member of a gang, who is sent by his boss to spy on a prosecutor played by Hong Kyung In. In the process, he falls in love with the prosecutor's wife Lee Hyun (Chae Jung An), who used to be a teacher at his high school, as well as his first love.

With his role, Chansung expects to be able to show his skills in action as well as his romantic side.

An official from Your Noir commented, "Hwang Chansung has been burning with passion toward acting in his meetings with director Lee So Yeon and script readings. We cast Hwang Chansung because we needed a man who is fit and athletic for Hyung Joo's character, who used to be a judo player."

Your Noir will start shooting on August 24 and air on October 2.

Chansung was previously praised for his acting in MBC's 7th Grade Civil Servant as Gong Do Ha, and is now busy shooting for his first big screen act Red Carpet.
